With her City expertise and contacts, Ruth advises on everything from sales and acquisitions to secured lending and portfolio management and regularly handles complex, multi-million pound transactions.
With clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to large corporates, banks, entrepreneurs and private individuals, she is recommended for her immense knowledge, her quick brain and her ability to remain unflappable when negotiating.
Expertise
Ruth is very experienced at dealing with a range of transactions from complex and high value multi-million pound disposals and purchases to high value residential matters. She handles sales and acquisitions, investment and owner occupied commercial property, portfolio management and property aspects of company sales and purchases.
She acts for a wide range of clients including large corporates, (e.g. AXA UK plc), charities, care homes, doctors, dentists, banks and private individuals.
After graduating from Cambridge University, Ruth qualified as a solicitor in 1997 into the City office of Thomas Eggar LLP. She was made a partner in 2002 eventually becoming head of the firm’s property department. In 2008 Ruth gained an MBA in legal practice from Nottingham Trent University. She joined Debenhams Ottaway in 2011.
