We acted for an educational foundation on the lease renewal of its head office. The charity had occupied the property (two adjoining buildings) for around five years under an excluded lease. We were instructed within days of the lease termination so we had to work quickly to negotiate the terms of the lease and rent deposit.
The lease was successfully finalised before the deadline, resulting in the charity securing another five-year term with good tenant protection and break clauses.
