We worked with AXA Corporate Solutions on the purchase of their new London headquarters.
We settled a complex agreement for a lease which was conditional on the landlord’s works and included landlord’s incentives, the lease, a licence to alter, a storage licence and a wayleave agreement, and tie it in with AXA’s existing lease of their current headquarters.
There was a substantial off-shore element to consider when agreeing the documents as they are a French based subsidiary of the main AXA group. The main French company was involved and acted as guarantor so we had to ensure that reporting met with both the UK and French requirements.
