Gifting money to outright and in trust to save Inheritance tax

We advised a married couple who had a second property that was being rented out.  We explained the ways of gifting to them so that they were able to gift money to their children in their lifetime to use their exemptions and save Inheritance tax.  We also advised them as to how they could gift their second property into trust for the children so as to save inheritance tax and capital gains tax.
