We helped a separating couple where the wife had insufficient income to generate the necessary mortgage capacity to purchase a new home for herself and the children. This involved a neutral financial adviser to assist both parties in obtaining the necessary mortgage finance for two new properties. It was also agreed that the wife would have a share of future bonuses over a certain period of time to allow her to adjust without financial hardship.
