The Hubbard Will Trust is a legal education trust that provides scholarships for those wishing to train as a solicitor.
We advised the charity on the scope and purpose of the scheme and the surplus income provisions. We have implemented a further change of trustees, dealing with the necessary internal compliance to ensure the trustee body retains the specialist skills it needs – particularly regarding risk management and Charity Commission guidance. We have also advised on the suitability of applicants for grants against the updated selection criteria within the latest scheme.
