We helped a legal education trust, the Hubbard Will Trust, in obtaining a scheme from the Charity Commission to amend its selection criteria as a result of changing practices in the legal profession.
The fund was originally set up to provide grants for postgraduate education but as the professional qualification environment has changed over the years, there is now a need for immediate qualification to help their future careers.
We helped the charity obtain a scheme to enable applicants to take up the scholarship at different stages of their career. This far better reflects the more flexible choices and different routes which aspiring lawyers now have to qualification.
